This is a field-based commercial professional responsible for developing and growing Mirum’s hepatology disease portfolio within an assigned territory in Germany.While working in close partnership with healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary care teams, the KAM develops and executes strategic account plans for priority centers and regional networks that support appropriate patient identification, access and use of Mirum’s therapies.
These roles work collaboratively with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing and other cross-functional partners and translates customer insights into effective account strategies while ensuring all activities comply with applicable legal, regulatory and company requirements.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and execute strategic account plans for priority centers and regional networks aligned with national commercial objectivesBuild trusted partnerships with healthcare professionals, KOLs, specialist centers, academic hospitals and multidisciplinary care teams across the assigned regionDeliver high-quality scientific and product discussions that support appropriate patient careIdentify customer needs and align Mirum resources and solutions to support appropriate patient careContinuously assess regional account opportunities using customer insights, market intelligence and business dataSupport account-readiness activities by identifying awareness, diagnostic pathway and referral-process gaps within priority accounts and regional networksShare compliant field insights to support market development, account readiness and future launch planningCollaborate effectively with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing and other cross-functional colleaguesMaintain strong knowledge of relevant disease states, treatment landscape and Mirum’s productsDemonstrate accountability for territory performance while consistently operating in compliance with company policies and applicable regulationsContribute positively to a collaborative Mirum culture by sharing best practices and supporting team successQUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in science or related field required; advanced degree preferred3+ years of professional experience in pharmaceutical or biotech field-based commercial rolesProven track record in delivering results in specialty care or rare disease marketsDemonstrated success supporting product launch, growth or market-development activities in complex healthcare environmentsExperience in liver disease, rare disease, GI, hepatology or related specialty areas preferredUnderstanding of strategic account management, regional healthcare structures and the German healthcare environmentCommitment to compliance, ethical business practices and appropriate scientific exchangeWillingness to travel frequently, including overnight travelFluency in German and English, with the ability to read, understand and communicate scientific and business information in EnglishKEY COMPETENCIESPatient-centric mindset and commitment to improving outcomes for people living with rare diseasesStrong strategic account thinking, prioritization and follow-through skillsEffective influencing, stakeholder management and relationship-building skillsAccountability, resilience and growth mindsetStrong clinical acumen and commitment to continuous learning#LI-REMOTEMirum Pharmaceuticals is committed to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and to compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws that prohibit employment discrimination on the basis of race, age, national origin, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, pregnancy, marital status, sexual orientation, citizenship, genetic disposition or characteristics, disability, veteran’s status or any other classification protected by applicable State/Federal/Local laws.Mirum Pharmaceuticals provides reasonable accommodation for qualified individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans in job application procedures.
