We are now seeking a self-motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to lead and develop our activities across Austria. This field-based role covers key hospital accounts across Austria and offers the chance to drive strategic engagement and market access for our infectious disease portfolio.

About the Role As Key Account Manager for Austria, you will be responsible for developing strategic hospital account plans, driving formulary inclusion, and building strong stakeholder relationships to maximise product uptake and market share. Analyse data to identify opportunities, anticipate challenges, and inform strategic decisions.

What Are We Looking For? We are looking for a scientifically grounded and commercially driven professional who thrives in a customer-facing role and brings a proactive, results-oriented mindset.

You will bring: Proven commercial experience in pharmaceutical sales within the Austrian hospital market, ideally in infectious diseases or hemato-oncology Demonstrated track record in successfully managing, developing, and growing key accounts.

Confident in navigating complex healthcare environments and building long-term relationships with HCPs and key-decision-makers. Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skillsA results-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for improving patient outcomes.

Fluency in German and English A relevant degree in life sciences (e.g. pharmacy, biology, medicine or equivalent) Join Us Join Shionogi and play an important role in shaping our presence in Austria.
