Your mission as “Key Account Manager Space Portfolio (m/f/d)” Drive Thales Alenia Space’s growth in Germany by leading sales, marketing, and business development efforts focused on the national space and defense sectors, especially with the German Ministry of Defence and key agencies.
Build strong customer relationships, identify national priorities and programs, and develop capture plans and industrial partnerships to secure and grow business in Germany. Define and implement the go-to-market strategy for defense space, satcom, ISR, ground segment, security, and institutional sectors within Germany.
Develop a qualified sales pipeline through account planning, stakeholder mapping, program tracking, and managing bid shaping and capture activities. Coordinate all aspects of proposals and tenders including partner qualification, pricing, governance, and bid reviews to ensure successful submissions. MBA is considered an advantage.
Professional Experience: At least 10 years in Sales, Business Development, or Capture roles within defense and/or space sectors, including 5+ years engaging with institutional customers. Experience in the German market is highly preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of space and satellite infrastructure, including payload, ground segment, satellite communications, secure communications, mission systems, and satellite observation technologies.
Defense Procurement Expertise: Familiarity with defense procurement processes such as tendering, capture strategies, contracting, and basic export control compliance.
Commercial and Financial Acumen: Strong skills in deal structuring, pricing strategy, risk and opportunity assessment, as well as forecasting and managing the sales pipeline. #J-18808-Ljbffr
