REQUIREMENTS

• Matric is essential; a business- or sales-related degree or diploma is preferred.
• 3-5 years' experience in FMCG key account management, with confectionery or food industry experience being a strong advantage.
• Proven track record of managing national or major retail accounts, such as Pick n Pay, Shoprite, Checkers, etc.
• Strong negotiation, numerical, and Excel skills.
• Own vehicle and a valid driver's license.

DUTIES

• Manage relationships and grow a portfolio of key retail and wholesale accounts, such as Pick n Pay, Shoprite, and Checkers, while negotiating trading terms, pricing, and promotional plans.
• Develop and execute account-specific growth plans aligned with sales targets.
• Drive new listings and increase shelf and distribution footprint across accounts.
• Monitor stock levels, sell-through, and demand forecasts in collaboration with procurement and logistics teams.
• Resolve escalations, including delivery issues, disputes, and returns, while maintaining high service levels.
• Prepare monthly account reviews, sales reports, and forecasts for management.
• Track competitor activity and market trends within the confectionery category.

• Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 17:00
