Outside Sales Representative – Logistics & Freight Forwarding · Hamburg, Germany

We are currently supporting an international logistics and freight forwarding company in the search for an Outside Sales Representative based in Hamburg, Germany.

This is an opportunity for a commercially minded professional who enjoys meeting customers face-to-face, developing new business in the field, and building long-term relationships within the freight forwarding and international logistics sector.

Key responsibilities:

• Proactively identify and acquire new customers through field sales, prospecting and networking
• Conduct face-to-face customer visits, sales meetings and commercial presentations
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Identify customer needs and propose tailored freight forwarding and logistics solutions
• Prepare and follow up on freight quotations in coordination with Operations and Procurement
• Manage the sales pipeline, CRM activities and commercial targets
• Support customer onboarding and coordinate the handover to Operations
• Monitor market developments, customer requirements and freight rates
• Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities and trade fairs

The profile:

• 1–4 years of experience in sales, customer service or operations within logistics/freight forwarding
• Ideally, some experience in field sales, outside sales or direct customer acquisition
• Exposure to sea, air, road or multimodal transport is an advantage
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Proactive, results-driven and comfortable with regular customer visits
• Fluent German and English
• Organized, self-motivated and eager to develop in a customer-facing sales role
