Qualifications • Hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related life science field; a qualification as a Pharmaceutical Representative per local regulatory requirements is a plus. • Have at least 4–5 years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry, with a proven track record in strategic account management and market development. • Hands‑on experience in rare disease environments and a strong understanding of complex stakeholder dynamics. • Deep knowledge of healthcare systems, reimbursement pathways, and patient access processes, ideally with exposure to high‑cost specialty therapies. • Scientifically agile – able to engage with complex clinical data and translate it into compelling, compliant customer discussions. • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical capabilities, taking ownership of results and thriving in ambiguous, fast‑evolving environments. • Excellent communicator and relationship builder, experienced in working across cross‑functional teams and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes. • Fluent in German and English and highly willing to travel within your territory, including overnight travel as required. • Valid driving license required.
Rare Disease Manager (Key Account Manager) for NF1, Middle of Germany Position located in the Middle of Germany covering key hubs such as Dresden and Göttingen.
Responsibilities Own your territory like a true entrepreneur, taking accountability for strategy, execution, and sustainable business growth across hospitals, treatment centers, and referral networks.
Develop and execute customized strategic account plans that strengthen centers of excellence, optimize referral pathways, and accelerate time‑to‑treatment for patients in need. Use CRM tools, market analytics, and territory business planning to identify opportunities, monitor performance, and continuously refine your approach.
Champion disease awareness and patient education initiatives, playing a key role in shaping the rare disease landscape in your region. Act as the voice of the customer, bringing actionable field insights back to the organization, directly influencing strategy at a national level.
