• Provide expert advice to customers on all aspects of civil engineering at the Raab Karcher branch in Hamburg or Kiel

• Calculate prices and prepare quotations for developers and construction contractors

• Consistently follow up on and process quotations

• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers through regular customer visits

• Convince customers and generate orders

• Work closely with sales management and internal sales

• Conduct price negotiations with suppliers and customers

Requirements

• Commercial apprenticeship in wholesale and foreign trade, an equivalent qualification, or relevant professional experience

• Ideally, experience in field sales

• Solid experience selling building materials is an advantage but not a requirement

• Career changers from the skilled trades with experience and knowledge of building materials are welcome

• Valid driving licence, at least Category B

• Strong communication skills when dealing with customers and suppliers

• Excellent negotiation skills

• Team player

• Experience working in a medium-sized business environment

• Ideally, an established regional network in the construction and building materials sectors
