Junior Sales Representative

Junior Sales Representative required in Somerset West.

The Junior Sales Representative will Identify and develop new business opportunities by generating leads and approaching potential customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Visit prospective and existing customers to promote products and services.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Conduct customer meetings, product presentations and sales discussions.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Follow up on leads, enquiries, quotations, proposals and prospective sales.
• Work towards achieving sales targets and business objectives.
• Develop strategies to expand the customer base and identify new market opportunities.
• Manage customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain accurate customer information, sales records and activity reports.
• Plan daily schedules, customer visits and sales appointments.
• Research market trends and develop product and pricing knowledge.
• Collaborate with colleagues and management to achieve sales objectives.
• Provide regular feedback on sales progress, customer needs and market developments.
• Travel regularly to visit clients and continuously improve sales techniques and customer service.

Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel regularly to customers.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence in engaging with customers face-to-face.
• Genuine interest in sales and business development.
• Self-motivated, ambitious and eager to learn.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, both remotely and from the office.
• Goal-oriented, reliable and hardworking, with a professional attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive business relationships.
• Relevant qualification in Sales, Marketing or Business.
• Previous sales or customer service experience.
