Key Account Manager - Public Safety and Defence Technology THIS ROLE IS 100% ON SITE IN MUNICH.

What’s on offer • A senior client facing role within an internationally scaling technology company • High ownership over strategic accounts and long term partnerships • Flat hierarchies with fast, pragmatic decision making • Flexible working hours, while remaining fully on site in Munich • A motivated, multidisciplinary team operating at the intersection of technology and public safety • An open, professional culture built on trust, responsibility, and progress What you’ll be doing • Building, managing, and strategically developing long term relationships with government bodies, police organisations, and military institutions • Acting as the central point of contact across the full customer lifecycle, from pre sales through delivery and ongoing use • Conducting detailed needs analysis and shaping tailored training and technology solutions • Identifying upsell and cross sell opportunities to deepen and expand existing partnerships • Planning and delivering product presentations, workshops, and live demonstrations, including on secure or restricted sites • Ensuring smooth project delivery in close collaboration with development, support, and product teams • Preparing reports, analysis, and forecasts on account activity, usage, and growth potential • Leading contract negotiations, framework agreements, and tender processes • Representing the organisation at industry events, conferences, and official institutional meetings What we’re looking for • Native level German and very strong English skills • At least 3 years of experience in key account management, ideally within government, security, military, or defence related environments • Strong understanding of the structures, processes, and expectations of public sector institutions • High levels of reliability, discretion, and professionalism in security sensitive contexts • Ability to explain complex technical solutions clearly to non technical stakeholders • Excellent organisational skills and experience managing multiple strategic accounts • Proactive, solution driven mindset with strong analytical thinking • Willingness to travel for client meetings, including to secure or restricted locations Nice to have • Experience working with XR, VR, AR, or simulation based training technologies • Familiarity with procurement processes within police, military, or government organisations • Experience with public tenders and procurement law If this sounds like a role you’d enjoy and you’re motivated by building trusted, long term partnerships in security critical environments on site in Munich, apply now or reach out directly at jb@skillsearch.com Seniority level • Mid-Senior level Employment type • Full-time Job function • Sales, Business Development, and Customer Service • Industries: Defense and Space Manufacturing, Government Administration, and Public Safety NO REMOTE OR HYBRID OPTION.
