Help shape the future of the global energy transition. In this role, you will build strategic partnerships with key customers, drive business growth in the rapidly expanding HVDC and FACTS market, and contribute to landmark projects that enable reliable, sustainable power transmission around the world. Your commercial leadership and customer focus will have a direct impact on our success and the energy infrastructure of tomorrow.
Your Tasks
- Lead Strategic Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong partnerships between Trench Group, including its global manufacturing network, and key stakeholders at assigned HVDC and FACTS customers. Serve as the trusted commercial partner across our portfolio of Instrument Transformers, Bushings, and Coils while maintaining close relationships with procurement and project decision-makers.
- Drive Growth and Win Business: Identify and develop new business opportunities, implement winning bid strategies, prepare timely and competitive offers, and lead commercial negotiations. Maintain a transparent and accurate opportunity pipeline to support sustainable business growth.
- Collaborate Across a Global Organization: Work closely with factories and cross-functional teams, including Offer Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain, to align on project opportunities, ensure product availability, facilitate timely deliveries, and support successful project execution.
- Shape Commercial Success: Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities, coordinate agreement on new project contracts across factories, and manage critical business topics such as customer audits and escalation management.
- Monitor Markets and Customers: Continuously assess customer needs, market trends, and competitive developments to identify growth opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and support Trench Group's market position.
- Deliver Transparency and Results: Provide regular sales performance updates, customer feedback, and market insights to management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master´s degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Sales. Ideally experience in selling high voltage products to OEM customers and/or experience in HVDC or FACTS business
- Strong customer focused approach
- Sense of ownership and responsibility
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, including English proficiency. Other Languages are a plus
- International work experience and intercultural teamwork is mandatory
- Sales and negotiation skills and experience
- Analytical mindset and systematic work approach
- Willingness to travel (:25% out of office)
